plodes® Pillar Chiminea Fire Pit is the latest addition to our assortment of outdoor wood burning metal fire pits and fireplaces!
Pillar’s minimalistic silhouette is derived by minimally subtracting only what is needed from a simple cylindrical column to anchor and elegantly define the robust fire element.
Chimineas (or Chimeneas) are freestanding front-loading fireplaces with a vertical smoke vent or chimney. The concept can be traced back to Spain and its influence on Mexico. The first use of a traditionally designed chiminea is believed to have been around 400 years ago and were initially made of fired clay used for both heating and cooking.
Pillar is handcrafted in Texas, USA using ¼” plate cold rolled Corten weathering steel for long lasting durability and quality.
